CS605 Software Engineering-II Assignment No. 3 Solution & Discussion Spring 2020

Assignment no. 3 covers Lec#35 to Lec#40.

Scenario: 10 (5+5) Marks

Suppose you are working as an IT consultant in a well reputed company. This company has various departments i.e Production, Sales, Marketing, Inventory and HR. These departmentsare using different stand-alone / legacy Systems. Being an IT consultant, you are required to perform the following tasks:

Task-1:
You are required to identify at least 5 points to prove that these multiple Legacy Systems are not very useful for the company in current scenario.

Task-2:
How will you convince the Board of Directors of the companyto switch to an ERP Systemthat will cater the needs of all these departments (at least 5 points).
